Tony Pollard: The hype train has been humming for some time now, but has Pollard shown enough to be more than just Zeke's handcuff? It would certainly appear so. Thirteen carries (to Zeke's 16), three catches, a touchdown, and a pretty clear threat to do something special every time he touches the ball. Not that we trust Mike McCarthy with much, but limiting Pollard's touches after today's performance will have every FOX pundit calling Jerry Jones' secret hotline, ASAP.
Jalen Reagor: Listen, I don't want to acknowledge it either, but he had seven targets and was about a shoe size away from a 70-yard touchdown Sunday. But if he's the Eagles intended WR2 (no offense, Mr. Watkins) and he's available in a majority of your waiver wires, why not? We're still Hurtin' for a Squirtin.
K.J. Osborn: Nine targets last week (overtime edition), six this week, and led the Vikings in receiving yards. Albeit, the majority of said yards came on one play, but Cousins pretty clearly trusts Osborn and with DeDe Westbrook busy returning punts for negative yardage, nobody is gonna come close to threatening him for playing time.
Chester Rogers: We refuse to believe that Derrick Henry will get six targets, much less six catches again anytime soon. After the Brown/Jones duo, Mr. Rogers' neighborhood has a slight visitation chance. Five targets today (and six last week) make it seem like a possibly plug-and-play in deep, DEEP leagues. Or just a bench stash. Why the hell not?
Dallas Goedert: Why the f*ck hasn't Zack Ertz been traded yet?! Rough day for Goedert, and he still almost got in the endzone. Only two targets (same as Ertz) make for a very middling value for a guy in a majority of starting lineups. Something to evaluate going forward.
Miami Skill Players: Hoping for the best for Tua--Jacoby Brissett is a very solid game manager, not a guy who's going to lead an explosive passing attack. Perhaps this benefits Waddle in a slight way as he's able to line up almost anywhere, but not sure Parker/Gesicki/Gaskin are hot plays the next few weeks.
